Eagles fans, take some time to reflect on this. Your team is competing in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Philadelphia is being represented on one of the grandest stages in sports history — again. And the Birds have a chance to bring a second Lombardi Trophy to the city. If you’re not already pumped up for the big game on Sunday — first of all, what have you been doing this entire time? Get it together, everyone.

But if you’ve been too tied up in work and haven’t had the chance to follow most of our coverage (which, by the way, you can catch up on in our Eagles live blog) then this is your chance to get more excited ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Every year, teams, companies, and fans make hype videos to prepare everyone for the big game.

On Saturday, the Eagles released their official hype video ...

If that wasn’t enough for you, we took it upon ourselves to round up some of the best from this year to get you pumped up for Super Bowl Sunday.

160over90 Eagles hype video

The Philly-founded ad agency 160over90 dropped its very own Eagles hype video on Thursday. The video is described as a “love letter twelve years in the making to the greatest football city and the greatest team.”

It starts with a view of Philadelphia, and the subtle sounds of the Fly Eagles, Fly fight song can be heard before the narrator reads a letter to the city. The letter is read over footage of Jason Kelce’s retirement, Jalen Hurts celebrating on the field, Philadelphians walking throughout the city and Nick Foles calling the historic Philly Special play.

The video ends with a message to the city “This is more than a team, it’s a family. It’s our family. This is more than a city, it’s our home. This is more than a game, this is everything. And more.”

DelcoDelphia’s Rocky-themed hype video

The social media account DelcoDelphia has been releasing hype videos throughout the past few years, including this year’s Rocky-themed video which they released on Friday morning.

The video starts with a slow fade to Nick Sirianni and Hurts after their 2023 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. It continues into iconic moments in movie history such as Mickey’s speech to Rocky in Rocky II. “You got another shot. It’s the second shot at the — I don’t know — the biggest title in the world.”

Before the video continues into highlights of this past season played underneath the sounds of Rocky II’s theme song, Redemption, Adrian is shown saying, “There’s one thing I want you to do for me. Come here. Win.” The video is sure to send chills up and down your body as the Eagles look for redemption against the Chiefs in a 2023 Super Bowl rematch.

PhillyDawgs Kendrick Lamar-themed hype video

PhillyDawgs’ hype video — you’ll have to click the link due to some NSFW lyrics — is perfectly themed with this year’s halftime show. The video started with a clip of Kansas City celebrating after their 2023 Super Bowl win over the Eagles with Drake’s diss record on Kendrick Lamar, entitled Push Ups, playing in the back. The song then switches to Lamar’s diss record on Drake, Not Like Us, and goes into Eagles highlights.

For those who don’t know, Lamar is performing at this year’s halftime show and is known to have an ongoing rap beef with Canadian rapper Drake. Most of the world, myself included, will say Lamar won the beef especially with his diss track winning five Grammys. In this hype video, the Chiefs are viewed as Drake while the Eagles represent Lamar. That’s a good sign for Eagles fans.

Liberty Line’s ‘Free Bird’ hype video

The social media account Liberty Line released their hype video on Feb. 3. The video mainly features highlights from this year, including the Eagles locker room celebration after their NFC championship win over the Washington Commanders. The highlights are played under Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Free Bird.

The video also features the voice of Gillie Da Kid. “We on the hunt, baby, and guess who’s the huntee. You are. And guess what we coming to do? We coming to stalk. If you’re in our way, guess what we do. We run you over. We get you out [of] the way. We demolish you.”

Eagles ‘Endgame’ themed hype video

This Eagles “Endgame” hype video may be my favorite one on the list. The video starts by showing the Eagles’ 2017 Super Bowl win with Foles under center. Over the highlights, fans can hear the voice of Tony Stark. “That seems like a thousand years ago. I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man, [and] realized I loved you. And I said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one.”

The video then switches to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration, with Peggy Carter saying,, “The world has changed. None of us can go back. Sometimes, the best we can do is start over. ” It then shows a clip of Saquon Barkley. If this video doesn’t get you excited for Super Bowl Sunday at this point, then I don’t know what will.
