Philly man arrested after fatal shooting and robbery in Lower Providence Township
A 47-year-old man is dead, and a suspect is in custody, according to the DA's office.

A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting and robbery of a 47-year-old Lower Providence Township man on Saturday afternoon, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele.
Prosecutors say that before the shooting, Jordan Antrim, 32, of Philadelphia, was riding on a SEPTA bus with Paul David Ley-Harris, of Lower Providence. Surveillance video showed the two men were seated across from each other, and Ley-Harris went through his wallet “in plain sight of Antrim,” according to a statement from Steele’s office.
The two men got off at a bus stop, prosecutors say.
Shortly before 5 p.m., Lower Providence Township police received a call from a witness who said a man — later identified as Ley-Harris — had been shot four times, and the shooter went through the victim’s pants pockets.
When officers arrived on scene, Ley-Harris did not have his wallet on him, prosecutors said.
Ley-Harris was taken to Einstein Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Steele’s office.
Antrim was arrested a few blocks from the scene of the shooting with a handgun in his waistband. The weapon was registered to him, but he did not have a permit to carry it, Steele’s office said.
Antrim has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, third-degree murder, robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, and possessing an instrument of crime. He is being held ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 29.
