Police yesterday identified the victims of two fatal shootings in South Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon.

Darryl Pray, 18, of Darby, was shot multiple times in the 1500 block of Reed Street shortly before 2 p.m. He was pronounced dead at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital at 2:06 p.m.

About an hour later, Tyrell Smack, 17, was riding in a car with two other males near 17th and Tasker Streets when a bullet struck him, police said. Smack, of Point Breeze, was was pronounced dead at 4:24 p.m. at Jefferson. Police said they knew of no motives for the shootings. - Naomi Nix
