The Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University opens in Gloucester Co. N.J. on March 28, with full-scale dinosaur replicas, a hands-on fossil quarry, and virtual reality journeys, all designed to inspire a deeper connection to the past and an understanding of the planet’s future.

South Jersey is home to some of the world's earliest dinosaur discoveries. The museum is situated at the edge of a former marl quarry that has already yielded 100,000 fossils of more than 100 species - including crocodiles, sea turtles and a 55-foot-long Mosasaur.
