The Palestra was the scene of the Philadelphia Catholic League Championships on Feb. 23, 2025. Father Judge boys’ basketball team defeated Roman Catholic, 41-34, for its first Catholic League championship in 27 years. For the first time in a decade, Neumann Goretti girls’ basketball is the Philadelphia Catholic League champion after beating Archbishop Carroll, 50-43.
