House of the Week: A three-bedroom rowhouse twin in Point Breeze for $435,000
The double roof deck offers two different views of Philadelphia.

To say that luck played a role in leading Roxanne and Ronald Davis to the rowhouse twin in Point Breeze would be an understatement.
Planning to leave Manayunk and looking at numerous homes, they stumbled on the house two weeks after it had been completed in 2016.
Walkability and restaurants were two words that Ronald, who runs an Instagram-based bakery, used to describe what most attracted him. Plus the idea of being the first owners of the home.
Roxanne, who works for the Social Security Administration, liked the fact that the double roof deck offered two different views of the city and that the neighborhood had a diverse range of ages.
Now the lure of family has led them to Delaware County, where both sets of parents live, and they’re selling the Point Breeze home.
The house’s open concept floor plan includes hardwood floors throughout. The living room leads to an eat-in kitchen, which has room for a good-sized table with an unusual wraparound island decorated to give a waterfall effect. It has quartz countertops, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, a pantry, and a gas range. A door off the kitchen leads to a private patio.
The second floor has two bedrooms that share a full hall bathroom, with a Juliet balcony off one of them. The primary bedroom fills the entire third floor, with an en suite bathroom that has a dual vanity and a large, glass-enclosed shower.
The basement is fully finished and has a half bathroom and laundry room.
Total square footage is 1,687. The house has two years left on the city’s property tax abatement.
The house is listed by Lynn Magaro of Redfin for $435,000.
