Sixers guard Jaden Springer makes 100 of 121 threes in offseason workout
If he wants a shot on the big roster, he knows his shot needs to be NBA-level.
Jaden Springer is putting in work.
Several weeks after the 76ers’ season concluded, the combination guard is back in his hometown of Charlotte working on his shooting. And based on Tuesday’s YouTube video, Springer is already seeing benefits.
He made 100 of 121 three-pointers in a Charlotte area gym. This comes after the 20-year-old made 2 of 5 three-pointers in 16 games played this season with the Sixers. Springer, who was selected 28th in the 2021 draft, averaged just 2.6 points and 5.6 minutes.

However, he did start the final two games as the Sixers rested their top players.
The two-year veteran finished with a career-high 19 points on 8-for-13 shooting in a 136-131 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on April 7.
He helped the Sixers keep things competitive despite being undermanned. Battling back from a 15-point deficit, they knotted the score at 117 on Springer’s layup with 47.5 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The Hawks responded with a Trae Young jumper to regain the lead on the ensuing possession. Then Springer tied the score again on a dunk with 25.9 seconds left.
The game went to overtime after Shake Milton misfired on a desperation heave.
The Sixers clung to a 133-130 lead after he split a pair of foul shots with 38.1 seconds left in overtime. His clutch performance came one night after leading the Delaware Blue Coats to the NBA G League championship.
A promising three-and-D player, Springer looks to crack the Sixers’ rotation this upcoming season. That’s why he’s determined to improve his three-point shooting this summer.
