Meet Earl and Boo, the shop cats at Philly’s Fairmount Pet Shoppe

Shop cats in a pet store — a likely place for them to be. What makes the live-in kitties at the Fairmount Pet Shoppe special, however, is their bond. Cats cycle through the pet store often, according to manager Abby James, since they keep kittens up for adoption from Green Street Rescue in their front window. That all changed when Earl’s now-older sister Boo picked him from the bunch two years ago. “She just saw Earl’s soft side and how affectionate he is and chose him to be her snuggle buddy,” said James.
