World Cafe Live CEO says venue is ‘here to stay’ amid cancellations and resignations

"The World Cafe Live is here to stay and we're tripling down on live music," World Cafe Live's new CEO Joseph Callahan told Inquirer music critic, Dan DeLuca, in a recent interview. The beloved Philadelphia institution has been a vital space for the music community for more than 20 years. Callahan's detractors fear he's destroying it, but he says he's saving it.
