An 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were critically wounded in a quadruple shooting at a graduation party Thursday night in North Philadelphia, police said.

Police responded shortly before 9:40 p.m. to a reported shooting on the 2300 block of North Lambert Street and found the boy and girl, who are believed to be brother and sister, as well as their 36-year-old mother and a 45-year-old man, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

All four victims were taken by police to Temple University Hospital, where they all were listed in critical condition.

The girl was shot in the abdomen, arm, and leg, Small said. The boy was shot in the abdomen. The mother was shot in the back. The man was shot twice in the arm.

The victims were attending a graduation party and were standing on the sidewalk and in the street when they were struck by gunfire, Small said.

Police watched a video from a security camera that showed a unknown man walking up to the intersection of Dauphin and Lambert Streets and firing north on Lambert toward the crowd, Small said.

“We don’t know who the intended target was,” Small said.

Police found 10 spent shell casings and were checking other security cameras in the neighborhood for video, Small said.
