Eagles’ Super Bowl celebration: Champagne showers, victory cigars, Howie Roseman’s dance moves
The Eagles celebrated a Super Bowl win both on the field and in the locker room

NEW ORLEANS — Two years ago the Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on the NFL’s biggest stage, the Super Bowl. Eagles players walked off the field in Arizona with their heads down as the red and gold confetti rained down and Kansas City celebrated a win. This year, both teams faced off once again but the final scene was a little different.
The Eagles came out on top in a dominant 40-22 win to claim their second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. After the game, confetti rained down once again but this time in Eagles green. Eagles players celebrated with victory cigars, Gatorade showers, and other joyous festivities to commemorate a championship win.

Here’s how they celebrated:
Of course, the festivities began as soon as the game ended. Eagles players flooded the field wearing their new Super Bowl championship gear and rookies and veterans alike could be seen holding something quite familiar in their hands: The Philadelphia Inquirer.
ear,We Can we take some time to recognize how adorable this moment was that Saquon Barkley shared with his daughter after the win? She may have stolen the show in a similar way Nick Foles’ daughter did after the Eagles 2018 Super Bowl win.
Once the players left the field, the festivities continued into the locker room. Players were geared up in goggles and toasted with champagne bottles, gave champagne showers, and danced to a game-winning playlist featuring the sounds of Drake, Lil Baby, Rod Wave, and even LiAngelo Ball. But they weren’t alone in the celebration. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman joined in on the fun, making his way into the center of the dance circle.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a real win without a victory cigar. After the Birds’ NFC championship win over the Washington Commanders, a photo of Jalen Hurts smoking a victory cigar took the world by storm. Now, we’re here to give the world more of what they’re asking for: a video of Hurts smoking a victory cigar. You’re welcome, world.
Nothing was stopping the Eagles from celebrating the win — not even a FaceTime call.
As the Eagles prepare to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to the city — and host a Super Bowl parade sometime this week — we end it on this note.
